Repair and Overhaul Technician

Eaton’s IS AER FEDdivision is currently seeking aRepair and Overhaul Technician.The hours for this role are7:00AM-3:30PMThe hourly rate for this position is$20.00per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

The FAA Certified Repairman is responsible for the maintenance functions of Bethel’s Repair Station and Customer Returns department.Position requires compliance with customer specifications, manufacturer specifications, and applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s).The person in this position will inspect to proper technical techniques on articles of which they are certified.FAA certification will only be acquired after working in the Eaton-Bethel Repair Station (it is not a certification that is transferable).Please note, certain duties performed by this role require this position to be subject to the guidelines of our Repair Station Certificate and are subject to DOT drug testing [marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines].Essential Functions•Assembly, setup and maintenance of tooling•Perform leak testing operations•Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device•Perform visual inspection of parts•Maintain quality records•Interface and/or interpret internal customer and supplier requirements•Interpret external customer requirements•Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensors (ATP)•Pull parts from inventory, maintain proper counts, pull picking lists

Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent required.•Minimum 2 years of experience with advanced troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components in a manufacturing environment required.•Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship.•This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or RefugeePreferred Qualifications•Basic knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to Repair Stations and maintenance of aircraft components.

Skills:

Position Criteria•Advanced knowledge of written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints•Basic soldering ability•Advanced troubleshooting with electrical and mechanical components•FAA repairmen’s certification•Advanced mechanical aptitude•Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing techniques•Basic computer skills•Ability to work using a microscope
